Hello - I'm Kari

I'm British by birth and Canadian by choice, and I've lived in Mexico for over 20 years nearer Guadalajara. I was brought up by the ocean in Cornwall, England, so the sea draws me all the time. I had rented this condo a number of times before deciding to buy it, because every time I visited I wished I could stay longer. It's peaceful, beautiful and the location is perfect.

I'm renting my condo only to previous tenants who have looked after it well, and to friends and family. It's not going on VRBO or AirBnB because I want to ensure my condo is well looked after and appreciated. I want to keep it in good condition for myself and everyone who visits. I expect everyone to look after it as if it was their own home too.

No smoking:
There is a strict no smoking policy inside my condo and on the balcony. Smoking is not permitted in any of the common areas. So no smoking by the pool, gym, etc. Please note this is really important!

Quiet time:
Quiet time in the common areas and the rest of the building are 11pm to 8am.

The pool:
There is a strict policy of no glass in or around the pool area. The pool is the epicenter of Azul. You will often see people sipping on a beverage of choice, contained in a non-breakable container, visiting with neighbors and guests. Many new friendships are formed and old ones renewed around the pool.

The pool hours are 8am to 11pm. The Azul team work hard to maintain the pool. Please do not enter the pool with oil or sand on your body. There is a hand held shower conveniently located at the bottom of the stairs on the beach side near the grill area.

BBQ:
There is a shared BBQ Grilling area for your use near the pool area. (And there is a small BBQ on the balcony as well.)

The shared BBQ area is a convenient area for friends and family to gather and enjoy grilling their meals outdoors. (Please leave the area clean and tidy. If someone is waiting to use the grill, be courteous and promptly leave when done.)

Gym:
There is a small Gym which is equipped with air conditioning. In the gym you will find a treadmill, elliptical jogger and stationary bike. There is also a variety of floor exercise equipment. Please wipe down the equipment after use. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Recycling and garbage:
The garbage receptacles are located outside the gate on the side street to the right behind the louvered doors. Please bag waste in appropriate bags to prevent spillage. (The garbage bins on each floor are used only for incidental trash. They are not to be used for everyday household waste.)

There are three recycling bins behind the staff room. These are for aluminum and plastic only. No glass or other materials.

Beach access:
There is an gate leading directly to the beach from the condominium. Please ask the guard at the entrance, for the current access code. Please wash off sand etc., at the shower near the entrance steps before returning to the pool area.
